Shipping and Returns

I have been shipping art for clients around the world for over a decade now, and have a great track record of consistently successful deliveries and happy customers, which I hope to continue.  Here's how I do it;

All original artwork is securely packed with (great) care and sent by either Parcelforce 48 for UK delivery, or with our trusted partner DHL couriers for international destinations.  These services are fully insured and tracked, and I monitor progress myself to ensure all goes smoothly until the parcel arrives safely on your doorstep. Smaller packages like print sets are sent out with Royal Mail, or Royal Mail International Tracked for deliveries abroad.

Delivery times can vary slightly; because we are in the Scottish Highlands Parcelforce 48 can take an extra day from here, but generally all UK orders will be delivered within 5 working days at most. International deliveries are between 7-14 working days.  If you have purchased an original artwork you will be sent tracking details and an estimation of delivery date, and do feel free to get in touch if you have any concerns at all.

We do not collect taxes on behalf of other administrations,  so you may need to pay customs duties or other taxes on your purchase when the parcel enters your customs zone; if you are making a large purchase it may be worth checking what you will need to pay before committing to buying. We have to send an electronic form for customs with each parcel, with all the purchase details visible and the buyer's contact details are there too in case they need to contact you for payment.

Refunds and Returns

The photography on site is all professionally done so does represent the true colours and textures of the paintings, and we have had no instances of damage in transit in recent years due to the magnificent packaging we use, which will hopefully inspire your confidence.  But in the very rare case that your chosen purchase is not what you had hoped for, I do accept returns.

 Please note this must be arranged at your own expense and work must be returned in the original packaging if possible, or if not, then securely packed in a similar fashion, and sent back to me on a tracked and insured service. Ideally you should get in touch about returning art immediately, at the latest please notify me within 2 weeks of receiving the art yourself, and I will do my best to help speed the process.  A refund can only be issued once the artwork has arrived safely back here.

Shipping and insurance for international deliveries of this kind is costly, so do please make sure you really love the piece before you order, and that way you are far less likely to need to return it!

(Although I have found from client feedback that the love only grows once people receive the actual painting, and trust it will be the same for you!)

Contact details and the address for returns is:

Jane Delaford Taylor, Finbracken, Cromlech Road, Dunoon, Argyll PA23 8QH, Scotland, UK
