I've been asked to paint many portraits over the years; here are a few samples and ideas for styles! Remember they don't need to be 'traditionally posed' to work well! I mainly work from photographs so there is no need for a sitting, and this also allows me to accept commissions for posthumous portraits too, something which can be a real blessing after losing a loved one and really seems to assist the healing process. You can contact me without obligation to discuss ideas and get a quote if interested.

'Heaven is what you make it' - this large double portrait was recently completed for a client in Birmingham and represents Mata Chand Ji and her husband Satguru Jagjit Singh, who was the spiritual head of the Sikh faith. The painting was created using old photographs, and a large dose of imagination, as both subjects had already passed on. I love doing this kind of work and am particularly pleased with this painting, as is the client who commissioned it.
