I have been painting angels for many years now, and love to use vivid, sweeping colours and gold leaf - the resulting images are my take on these iconic, archetypal beings who appear throughout history across all religions, in legend, folklore and literature. Here are just a few of mine... all in oils on canvas, and usually painted at a larger size in order to get the visual impact (and also to fit the wings in!).
