I am a self-taught artist, with an extensive background in illustration working for major clients such as Hay House, Macmillan and The National Gallery. I now bring those skills to my work in oils on canvas, which sell to an international client base.
I love to create pieces that tell a story, or which inspire the viewer to invent one. I draw ideas from the natural environment, folklore and legend, and I have a deep interest in neuroaesthetics and the role art plays in our mental wellbeing. These are the main elements that feed the roots of my artist practise. Art distracts, soothes, inspires and uplifts us, (both artist and viewer) and I know that my clients choose their pieces with this in mind.
